• Ikea Nursery Furniture Suggestions: We’re considering baby nursery furniture which mostly includes: a dresser (longer rather than taller preferred) along with some sort of small-ish adult-sized “bed” like a sofa-bed or daybed, both for sitting but also for adult-sleeping when necessary.

• If you’ve looked at the lists above and know you could find items on Facebook Marketplace, have some hand-me-downs of your own to share, etc., that would be excellent! Items don’t need to be new to be useful! Maybe you have a favourite second-hand or pre-loved baby-suitable book you want to share?

• Note: we thankfully already have a lot of baby clothes, especially 0-6-ish months, that we received as hand-me-downs from friends and neighbours; we do not need more clothes!

More useful info:

• Our main crib is a mini-crib, which means its size is (about) 24” x 38”, smaller than a normal crib (this is useful when thinking about mattress covers or sheets!)
• We’ve bought a stroller! A Thule Urban Glide 3 that we hope to use forever through all the weather.
• Our three dogs and cat are also going to be experiencing a big change! Toys, treats, or thoughts for them are appreciated too. :)
